The campus of Deshbhakt Ratnappa Kumbhar College of Commerce resonated with cultural pride and enthusiasm as the B.B.A. Department took the lead in organising a grand celebration of Shivjayanti along with Traditional Day. The event highlighted not only the rich heritage of Maharashtra but also the active leadership, unity, and organisational strength of the B.B.A. students.
On this special occasion, students and faculty members dressed gracefully in traditional attire such as kurta, dhoti, and saree, reflecting cultural elegance and discipline. The celebration was graced by the esteemed presence of President Sou. Rajanitai V. Magdum, Secretary Dr. V. N. Magdum, Principal Dr. V. V. Maindargi, Vice Principal Dr. R. S. Naik, and B.B.A. Department HOD Dr. Seema Benade, whose presence motivated the students. The program commenced with the ceremonial worship (poojan) of the idol of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, symbolising respect for his ideals of leadership, courage, and self-governance. Through disciplined coordination and enthusiastic participation, B.B.A. students demonstrated their event management skills and teamwork qualities that truly reflect the strength and professionalism of the department.
Students further added charm to the celebration by performing traditional dances to cultural songs and capturing joyful moments through photographs. The event not only honoured the legacy of Shivaji Maharaj but also showcased the confidence, cultural awareness, and leadership qualities of the B.B.A. Department, making the celebration grand, meaningful, and memorable.
