On 24th March, the BBA Department of Deshbhakta Rantapp Kumbhar College, Kolhapur, organized a special library activity for first-year BBA students. The main purpose of this event was to encourage students to develop a habit of reading and to familiarize them with the effective use of academic resources. The session was graced by Dr. Seema Benade, HOD of the department, and Mrs. Megha Mahadik, who guided the students on how to make the best use of the library and how to select books relevant to their studies. The college library offers a rich collection of books specifically tailored to the BBA curriculum, including subjects such as Management, Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, and Business Analytics. Students can explore these resources to support their academic projects, research work, and exam preparation. In addition to physical books, the library also provides access to digital resources and e-books, allowing students to conduct research more efficiently.
Through this activity, students learned practical ways to navigate the library, find suitable references, and cultivate a genuine interest in reading. Many students actively participated by selecting books aligned with their areas of interest. Activities like this not only enhance academic skills but also foster a culture of knowledge enrichment and intellectual curiosity within the BBA department.
