The MBA department has organized the Group Discussion Activity on the topic The Impact of AI on Job Creation vs. Displacement. In this activity three groups discussed the above said topic. Every group have discussed their opinion. The group discussion concludes that AI acts as both a disruptor and a creator rather than a simple job destroyer. While AI displaces routine, rule-based labour, it simultaneously drives the creation of specialized human roles. The overarching consensus is that the future of work hinges on proactive upskilling. Students discussed as AI creates threat of job displacement for routine and entry level role whereas job are created for new tech roles. The group discussion activity develops soft skill, team collaboration among students.
