The induction Programme for students admitted in 1sy year UG for the academic year 2026-27 was conducted by Student Development Committee with great enthusiasm. The program, which marked an inspiring beginning to the students’ academic journey, was presided over by Dr. Vishwanath Magdum, Secretary of the Council of Education.On this occasion, Principal Dr. Varsha Maindargi, Vice-Principal Dr. R. S. Naik, Induction Programme Coordinator Dr. Ashok Banne, IQAC Coordinator Shivling Rajmane, along with all Heads of Departments, faculty members, and teachers, were present.In her introductory address, Principal Dr. Varsha Maindargi provided detailed information about the college including academic heritage, courses offered, various student-oriented activities, skill development opportunities, and the institution's contribution to the overall personality development of students. She urged students to make the best use of the opportunities available during their college life and build a bright future for themselves.In his presidential address, Dr. Vishwanath Magdum welcomed the students and informed them about the various opportunities available for their academic, professional, and personal growth. He emphasized that success in today competitive world can be achieved through knowledge, skills, discipline, and a positive attitude. He encouraged students to remain goal-oriented and guided them regarding the various courses, activities, and career opportunities available through the institution. He also conveyed his best wishes for their bright future.Former Principal of the Nursing College, Mr. Bhalchandra Kulkarni, administered the Nasha Mukti (Drug-Free India) Pledge to the students and provided guidance on the importance of staying free from addictions.All Heads of Departments also introduced their respective departments and guided the students regarding their academic journey.The programme was compered by Dr. Rajkiran Birje, while the vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. R. S. Naik. A large number of first-year B.Com. students, faculty members, teachers, and non-teaching staff attended the event.The induction programme successfully created a sense of confidence, motivation, and a positive outlook towards college life among the newly admitted students.
