Department of Commerce, in association with Nehru Yuva Kendra, Kolhapur organised a "Neighbourhood Youth Parliament" on Wednesday, 2nd March 2023. The main objective of this programme was to inculcate the leadership qualities among the boys and girls. The National Yuva Volunteers Mr. Swapnil Powar and Mr. Amit Hujare guided the students the different qualities required for a successful leader. Mr. Swapnil Powar narrated the importance of team leader and the qualities of team leader while Mr Amit Hujare described the role of communication skill and behavioural aspects in leadership. More than 40 students were present for the parliament. Dr. A. S. Banne introduced the resource persons and extended vote of thanks. Prof. (Dr.) K. G. Kamble, Dr. S. B. Rajmane, Prof. Mrs Muthane, Prof. Mrs. Wadkar, Prof. Mr. Mujawar, Prof. Mrs. Patil and Prof. Mr. Toprani took efforts in organising the programme.
