Dr RaviKumar Sadashiv Naik is a Professor of Economics in D R K College of Commerce Kolhapur since 2006. He is awarded D.Litt. from International Economics University for SAARC Country's, Tamilnadu. His educational qualification is M. A, M. Phil , Ph.D,SET, G.D.C.& A. The title of his Ph.D thesis is 'Impact of Soil Salinity on agriculture'. He has published two Reference Books and more than 20 research papers in International and National journals. He has also attended more than 50 conferences , seminars, workshops of International, National ,State and University level. He has presented more than 25 research papers in International, National conferences, seminars workshop's .He is M. Phil and Ph. D. guide in to streams i.e. Business Economics in Commerce and Management , Economics in Humanities faculty. He has guided more than 50 M. Com. students for the preparation of research project . He is working as Associate NCC officer from 2012. He has also good active in social work.

Dr. S.F. Bothikar is working as an Assistant Professor in Economics, since 2004. He has teaching experience of more than 11 years in Business Economics, Money & Financial System, Co-operative Development and Business Environment. He has presented 06 research papers for the International, National and State level Seminars and Conferences, published more than 3 research article in the journals of International and National level. He has also been good active in social work. He is working as a NSS programme officer from 2013 till date.

Dr. K.G. Kamble is working as an Associate Professor, since last 10 years. He has more than 20 years teaching experience. He has presented papers in the State and National level Conferences. Assistant Professor : Dr. A. S. Banne

Dr. A. S. Banne is working as an Assistant Professor in Commerce, since 2009. He has experience of 12 years as Assistant Teacher in Junior College at D.D. Shinde Sarkar College, Kolhapur and more than 8 years teaching experience in Senior College. Presently, he has been assigned the responsibility of IQAC. He has been awarded Ph. D. in the year 2015. Topic of his Ph. D. is “Customer Satisfaction in LIC of India – A Case Study of Kolhapur District”. He has published 25 research papers in international journals, 5 papers in national conference proceedings and presented 10 papers in international seminars and conferences. He is active member of Shivaji University Commerce and Management Teachers’ Association (SUCOMATA) and Phule Ambedkar Shahu Teachers’ Association (FASTA). His current research areas of interest are Banking, Marketing, Insurance, Management and Economics. He is visiting faculty for MBA.

Librarian : Mr. T. L. Kamble

Mr. T. L. Kamble has been working as a Librarian since 2005 and as a contributory teacher for BLISc. of YCMOU and LTC course of Shivaji University, Kolhapur, since 2007. He has completed M.A. in Histry, MLISc., M.Phil., SET in Library and Information Science. He has written a book for NET/SET exam and counseling for NET/SET examination in Library Science. He has attended several national and regional conferences and seminars and presented research papers. He has registered for Ph.D.

ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR: DR. SHRIPAD SHRIDHAR DESAI

Dr. Shripad Shridhar Desai has been in continuous full-time academic service under the Council of Education, Kolhapur, since February 2012. He served as Assistant Professor at Shahaji Law College, Kolhapur (February 2012–November 2022) and, since December 2022, has been serving as Associate Professor and Head, Department of Law at D.R.K. College of Commerce, Kolhapur, both constituent institutions of the Council of Education, Kolhapur. He has over 14 years of continuous teaching experience in legal education.

He has made significant contributions to academic leadership, curriculum development, research and institutional quality enhancement through his roles as Chairman, Board of Interdisciplinary Studies, Member Secretary, Academic Council, Deputy Controller of Examinations, IQAC Member, Research Coordinator, and SWAYAM Coordinator (SPOC). He has also played a key role in the Placement & Self-Employment Cell, facilitating employment opportunities for more than 700 students through career guidance, campus recruitment and employability initiatives.

His areas of interest include Constitutional Law, Human Rights, Legal Education, ADR and Socio-Legal Studies. He has successfully completed an ICSSR-sponsored research project and has contributed to legal scholarship through 26 authored/co-authored books, 4 edited books, and numerous research papers published in national and international journals. He has also contributed to NEP 2020 implementation, curriculum development and digital learning initiatives.

Beyond academics, Dr. Desai actively promotes Legal Aid, Constitutional Awareness, Election Literacy, Consumer Awareness, Financial Literacy, and community outreach programmes, strengthening legal awareness and access to justice through collaboration with government agencies and statutory authorities.

His contributions have been recognised through several state, national and international awards, including the Global Teacher Award, and he was recognised among the Top 30 Emerging Leaders in India – 2023 by Influencer Magazine. He is committed to advancing legal education through excellence in teaching, research, academic leadership, and community engagement.

Dr. S. B. Rajmane is working as a Assistant Professor in Commerce since June 2014. He has more than 7 years of teaching experience in Commerce subjects at senior college level. He has been awarded with Ph. D. degree in Business Economics under the faculty of Commerce and Management by Shivaji University, Kolhapur. His research topic of Ph. D. thesis was 'A Study of Agriculture Development Through Advanced Technology with Special Reference to Sangli District'. He has published 8 research papers in international journals, conference proceedings, 3 research papers in national conference proceedings and presented 15 research papers in national and international level seminars and conferences. He is shouldering the responsibilities of RUSA Coordinator and Nodal Officer for Autonomous College. Besides, he has also taught professional accountancy software’s like TALLY. His current research areas are Business Economics, Agriculture and Rural Management.

Dr. N. H. Jadhav is working as Assistant Professor of Statistics from August 2014. He has 10 years research experience, 1 year professional experience and 7 years teaching experience. He has awarded Ph. D. in topic “Some Contributions to Alternative Methods in Regression Analysis” from Shivaji University, Kolhapur. He has published 8 research articles in well reputed international journals. He has participated in different national, regional, university level conferences, seminars and workshops. He has received "Best Presentation Award - First Prize" in National Symposium on Statistics and its Applications for Young Researchers organized by University of Madras. He has worked as a reviewer for the reputed international journals. He is a life member of Shivaji University Statistics Teachers Association. Dr. Tahir S. Zari holds a doctorate in Business and Management from Shivaji University, Kolhapur and is a regular fulltime Senior Assistant Professor at Deshbhakta Ratnappa Kumbhar College of Commerce, Kolhapur since 2005. He is honored and awarded D. Litt. degree in Business Management by I.E.U. University, SAARC countries. He has 16 years of experience in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate departments. He also has 4 years of industrial and professional experience as a "Business Management Trainer". Besides serving as a Core faculty of Marketing Management, in addition he also has in-depth study of teaching of H.R.M. and General Management subjects. He is Teacher, Researcher, Trainer and Inspirational speaker, Academic Administrator, Author, Creative and Dynamic guide and Excellent Anchor and Presenter.
He has won the first rank and place twice in a row in the State and National level central research project competition "Avishkar" organized by Shivaji University for Teachers level of Commerce and Management. He is the author of reference book “Ethical Perspectives of H. R. M.” based on Human Resource Development and Ethical Values. He has published articles on various topics in many famous newspapers. Dr. Mrs. Tejaswini Hilage is working as an Assistant Professor in MBA Department. She has 11 years of experience of teaching for MBA students.
